There can be several reasons for errors when adding keys. We recommend first checking the potential causes, and if that does not help, please contact support through the chat in your personal account.
Error in key characters.
A character might be missing, there could be an extra character, or the key was entered using a screen scanner. For example, users often take a screenshot to save the keys (which we do not recommend) and then copy the keys from the image using a screen scanner, which frequently makes errors with such formats.
API passphrase not entered.
Some exchanges, in addition to the API Key and API Secret, require an API passphrase. Without it, the keys cannot be connected, and our system will display a connection error.
CryptoCopy IP addresses not set or set incorrectly.
In the API key addition form, there are IP addresses that must be added during API key generation on the crypto exchange. They must be copied and pasted in full. The instructions indicate where to add the IP addresses.
Exchange's terms on the futures section aren't accepted.
If you have created a new account on the exchange, we recommend visiting the futures terminal and accepting the exchange’s terms if required. Without accepting the terms or agreeing to the risks in the trading terminal, the exchange might not allow account management through API keys.
